Aims and Objectives of The English United Karate Federation

The English United Karate Federation (EUKF) was formed to help facilitate a fair and equal opportunity for all Karate-Ka to enter Karate competitions in both Kumite and Kata at National and International level. While having no interference with the internal running or structure of the member Association/Clubs.


Member Associations and Clubs will be solely responsible for their own administration, insurance and student’s well-being and safety. This is to ensure that they retain full control over data and rules affecting their own group.

The following structure has been put in place to ensure that this will happen:

Kumite and Kata Squad

Regional Squad training sessions for both Kumite and Kata open to all students

National Squad training sessions for both Kumite and Kata open to all students

An Annual General Meeting with an open forum for all members to voice their objectives

Open entry to competitions with the facility for an athlete’s coach to coach if required

Referees and Judges

Regional Referees Courses open to all members

National Referees Courses open to all Association qualified Judges and Referees

International Referees and Judges Qualification with the WUKF

First Aid Courses
